While our physicians are well trained to manage chronic pain, we do not prescribe narcotics (opioids) for this purpose. This is due to an abundance of evidence demonstrating a multitude of risks and no long‑term benefit in reducing pain or improving one’s functional ability. If you are taking narcotic pain medications and would like to join, you may need to obtain these prescriptions through a pain specialist or we can discuss a safe discontinuation plan.
