Our Care Team
Relationship-centered, evidence-based care and a team that knows you
Ryan Coe, MD
Founder & Physician
Dr. Coe graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He was awarded the prestigious Jeannette Newton scholarship to attend the University of Miami, where he earned his Medical Doctorate degree. He then completed three years of internal medicine residency training at Oregon Health and Science University with a focus in primary care and LBGTQ+ health. He earned his board certification in internal medicine. He is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and has obtained his HIV specialist credential from the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
Dr. Coe grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has a passion for caring for those in his community. He enjoys partnering with his patients and developing individualized approaches to reach their goals. He embraced the direct care model after realizing the constraints imposed by the insurance-driven healthcare industry were preventing him from delivering the level of care he envisioned for his patients. Direct care with a small panel size allows him to provide the personalized care that his patients deserve.
As a gay person, he understands the importance of having a safe space to openly discuss sensitive aspects of healthcare without fear of judgement. He spent years practicing in a gender affirming specialty clinic and found this experience especially rewarding. He aims to create a welcoming environment so his patients feel comfortable being themselves.
“After gaining invaluable experience in my medical career, I founded PridePoint Health to practice medicine the way I’ve always envisioned—by building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with my patients, truly seeing and hearing them, and delivering the personalized care they deserve.”

Sara Crowley RN
Registered Nurse | Clinical Care Coordinator
Sara began their healthcare career in Washington as a Certified Nursing Assistant, gaining early experience in hands-on patient care across a variety of clinical settings. Their work has ranged from the University of Washington’s operating rooms to home health, providing care for patients in both high-acuity hospital environments and more personal, in-home settings.
After relocating to Portland for nursing school, Sara completed their clinical practicum at Kaiser Permanente, where they worked in both the Gender Pathways Clinic and the HIV Care and Prevention Clinic. These experiences strengthened their commitment to inclusive, evidence-based care and deepened their understanding of the unique needs of LGBTQ+ patients.
At PridePoint Health, Sara plays a central role in clinical coordination and patient support. They assist with procedures, manage follow-up care and lab coordination, and help ensure that each visit runs smoothly and intentionally. Their presence allows care to feel organized, thoughtful, and unhurried—reinforcing PridePoint’s relationship-centered model.
Sara grew up in the Seattle area and has always felt called to serve their community. As a queer individual, they are especially passionate about creating affirming healthcare spaces where patients feel respected, informed, and genuinely cared for. Their goal is to ensure every person who walks through PridePoint’s doors feels seen, safe, and valued.
