💉 Yeztugo (Lenacapavir) – PrEP Dosing Schedule
1. Oral Lead-In (Start at Home):
Before your first injection, you’ll take two tablets by mouth to safely introduce the medication:
Day 1: Take 1 pill (300 mg)
Day 2: Take 1 pill (300 mg)
2. First Injection (Day 15):
2 weeks after starting the pills, you’ll come to clinic for a single injection (927 mg, under the skin).
3. Ongoing Protection:
After the first injection, you’ll return every 6 months for your next dose.
Missed Dose?
If it’s been more than 214 days (just over 7 months), you’ll need to restart with pills again before your next injection.
